Relax in the tranquility of our beautiful spa with a Hot Stone Massage. Hot Stone massage is a specialty massage the uses smooth, heated stones. The volcanic rock absorbs and retains heat well.
You will experience a deeply soothing form of massage that aids in the release of tight muscles. Our experienced massage therapist will customize the treatment to your specific needs.
What Happens During a Hot Stone Massage?
- Before you arrive, the massage therapist sanitizes and heats the stones in 120 and 150 degree water.
- The therapist uses traditional strokes of Swedish massage while holding a heated stone. Each stone is replaced as it cools.
- The therapist will also leave heated stones at specific points along your spine, in the palms of your hand, or even between your toes, leaving you feel relaxed, refreshed and reinvigorated.
